Training class and seminar on The national weather radar calibration principle and technology

From December 27thto 29th2015, Training class and seminar on The national weather radar calibration principle and technology jointly held by international atmospheric probing laboratory of CUIT and the meteorological center of our national meteorological administration opened in our university. The chief foreign teacher doctor V. Chan drasekar from Colorado state university and professor Luca Baldini from University of Florence, Italy were invited to the seminar as the guiding tutors. Hundreds of researchers from the national meteorological system, radar manufacturers, universities and research institutes and other units presented in the seminar.

Workers from the front line , engineers, researchers and teachers in the field of weather radar gathered in the seminar. They had deep discussion with the hope that in future their professional skills could be enhanced.

The last section of this seminar is finishing a questionnaire and a quize. Qualified students were awarded certification by the tutors and our university.
