Doctor Wang Zifeng from Remote Sensing and Digital Earth Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences Gives an academic lecture in CUIT

Doctor Wang Zifeng from Remote Sensing and Digital Earth Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences gave an academic lecture entitled Introduction to the Development of the Research and Application of Atmospheric Environment Remote Sensing Technology in CUIT. Teachers and postgraduates from Resource and Environment College , and senior undergraduates from Remote Sensing major attended this lecture.

Doctor Wang Zifeng focused on the topics of the general situation of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the research teams and fields, harm caused by haze and particles. Besides, he had a vivid explanation on the meaning of atmospheric environmental satellite remote sensing, aerosol and particulate matter inversion, satellites remote sensing of polluted and greenhouse gas, applications of satellite remote sensing system in environmental pollution monitoring and ect.

Several students from Resources and Environment College have been enrolled in Remote Sensing and Digital Earth Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences for master and doctor study. Wang Zifeng hoped that more and more CUIT students could come to Remote Sensing and Digital Earth Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences for study and communication.
