Music&Dance Troupe from University of New Hampshire Visits CUIT

Music and dance exchange performance given by University of New Hampshire (UNH) and CUIT was held at the International Conference Hall in Hangkonggang Campus. Vice President He Jianxin and Wang Yige of Confucius Insititute of UNH delivered welcome speeches.


He Jianxin expressed his thanks to UNH for coming to our university and hopes to strengthen cooperation and exchanges between the two universities. Wang Yige expressed his hopes to strengthen the communication among teachers and students through the form of art exchanges, and he will also actively promote the bilateral cooperation.


The performance began with instruments show of Side of Lake Baikal by CUIT art troupe. Then UNH vocal quartets performed Sweet Honey, Song of Alishan. Woodwind Quartet performed Scherzo, Country Garden and other famous foreign musical compositions. Professor Gay Nardone showed us the tap dance It Don’t Mean a Thing If It Ain’t Got That Swing, skillfully putting traditional performing form and modern arrangements together, after that, CUIT art troupe wonderfully performed pop dance. After the performance, both teachers and students of two universities actively communicated with each other.


Leaders from Party and Government offices, International Office, and School League Committee and representatives of teachers and students watched the performance.
