The 17th IEEE International Conference on Communication Technology hosted by CUIT

The 17th IEEE International Conference on Communication Technology (ICCT 2017), co-sponsored by Sichuan Institute of Electronics, University of Electronic Science and Technology and CUIT, was successfully held in Chengdu Jinjiang Hotel in October 27 to 31. The conference, which was a great success, invited a number of distinguished academic guests to make academic reports, including Professor Xiong Zixiang of Texas A & M University, Professor Wang Leyi of Wayne State University of the United States, Professor Shum Ping of Nanyang Technological University of Singapore, Professor Koichi Asatani of Kogakuin University and Professor BradfordRay Sheriff of British university and so on. All ICCT essays are collected in IEEE Xplore and EI search. Average attendance of every session is more than 400, and the attendance of this conference is more than 500. This session focused on the new theory of communication technology and its application, providing an extensive exchange platform for experts and scholars in communication technology and related research fields to exchange the latest research results and explore the direction of academic development.


As one of the organizers, CUIT fully participated in the conference review and presiding work. Professor Li Yingxiang, Dean of School of Communication Engineering, attended the conference as propaganda chairman. Associate Professor Chen Gong, Director of the Department of Microelectronics, chaired the sub-forum as the chair of the sub-forum and delivered an academic report entitled A 9-bit 10MSps SAR ADC with Double Input Range for Supply Voltage. During the conference, more than a dozen teachers and students from School of Communication Engineering participated in various seminars.


The ICCT International Conference on Communication Technology, co-sponsored by China Institute of Communications and China Institute of Electronics in 1986, covers all aspects of communication technology and is the highest level of academic activity in communication technology in China. Besides, it is also an information and communication technology research International event.
