Zhang Guanglei, Deputy Dean of the school of International Education of Nanjing University of Information Technology (NUIT), along with Xu Jialu, teacher from NUIT and 20 overseas students visited CUIT. During the tour, the delegation visited Sichuan Meteorological Bureau and the library, the science museum and the meteorological observatory of CUIT. Besides, they attended the English lectures offered by Atmospheric Sciences School.
On their visit to Sichuan Meteorological Bureau, the delegation learned about the workflow of weather services such as climate warning, live weather report and climatic analysis through listening to the commentary and their observation.
After visiting CUIT library, science museum and Atmospheric field, the delegation had a deeper comprehension about the history and academic achievements of our university as well as the relevant devices and technology of meteorological observation.
The delegation participated in academic lectures on the subject of atmospheric sciences in room 101 of the Meteorological Building.
