Invited by the School of Applied Mathematics of CUIT, Nguyen Dong Yen, Senior Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the Vietnam Academy of Sciences, gave an academic lecture in our university. The academic lecture was held in room 421 of the Administrative Building. Yang Guangchong, the Party Secretary of the School of Applied Mathematics, Professor Chen Yongming, some graduate students, Professors Qin Xiaolong and Yao Yonghong of USETC, and Lei Ming, a doctoral student of Sichuan Normal University, attended the conference.

Prof. Nguyen Dong Yen gave an academic lecture entitled Affine Vanational Inequalities on Normed Spaces.

The brief introduction of the speaker: Nguyen Dong Yen is a senior professor and PhD supervisor of the Vietnam Academy of Sciences. His research fields include nonlinear analysis, extreme value and variational analysis, and optimization theory.
