Delegation of North Rhine-Westphalia visited CUIT

A delegation of 7 from North Rhine-Westphalia came to CUIT for an exchange visit. He jianxin, Deputy President, leaders and teachers from the College of Control Engineering, Science and Technology Office, and International Office had a discussion with the delegation in the No.7 Conference Room of the Administrative Building. 


He Jianxin introduced the university, the subject setting, social reputation and the achievements of the its engineering education reform in recent years.

The Minister of Communications of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hendrik Wüst, gave an overview of the ministry of communications and its energy reforms. He mentioned that the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia and Sichuan Province have deep and friendly cooperative relations, and responded to China's "One Belt And One Road" policy to strengthen the cooperation and exchanges between China and Germany.

Song Xueqian, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Office, introduced the scientific research, subject groups and related research bases. Jiang tao, Dean of College of Control Engineering, introduced the college’s scientific research and international cooperation, and highlighted the research and development process of the first driverless car in southwest China.

The delegation also visited the laboratory of the College of Control Engineering and watched a demonstration of road recogniton technology and the first driverless car in southwest of China.
