The School of Marxism was established in Oct. 2008, with her former form founded in 1992 as the original Social Sciences Department. The School of Marxism mainly undertakes teaching the courses on principles of thoughts and politics among the entire undergraduate and graduate student body on campus. Additionally, the work of establishment and research on Marxist Theory subjects is also carried out here. The main office takes responsibility in daily administrative affairs and management of the teaching affairs in our college. The main teaching and scientific research offices are Office of Marxist Theory Education, Office of Ideological and Political Education, Office of Current Political Education as well as Institute of Localization of Marxist Theory in China, Institute of Ideological and Political Education. This forms a healthy pattern which ensures the mutual promotion between teaching and research. Our school owns an industrious faculty that are fairly constructed, highly learned and normatively behaved. Now, there are 31 full-time teachers, among whom are 8 professors, 9 associate professors, 14 lecturers, 7 doctors and 17 masters. This is a team with sufficient people and good qualities. Young and diligent faculty provide powerful support for the disciplinary construction on ideological & political theories and Marxist theories.
