Professor Krishna Paudel of Louisiana State University, USA, gave an academic lecture entitled The Impact of Coastal Tourism on the Economy in our university. More than 100 teachers and students in the major of Tourism Management, Exhibition Economy and Management in School of Management took part in the lecture.
Krishna Paudel combines two academic dissertations, takes Louisiana Coastal Tourism Economic Research as an entry point, gives specific explanations from asking questions, designing questionnaires, survey data, statistical analysis, model building, policy analysis and conclusion expounding and discuss data sources and other issues with scholars of our university.
Huang Ping, Dean of School of Management concludes the speech. She encourages students to see the economic, political, cultural and ecological deeper things behind the phenomenon, and also proposes three requirements: first, to develop the spirit of being good at research, daring to adhere to study; second, to cultivate the habit of self-thinking and the ability of independent research and study; third, we must combine learning with practice, bring knowledge that learn from classroom to practice in life and continuously enhance the students' autonomous learning and English proficiency.
