Professor Elmar Griese from Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of Siegen University was invited to have academic exchange with CUIT teachers and students.
With the backdrop of the signing of the exchange student program agreement, cooperation on jointly cultivation program and Summer School program were discussed on the exchange meeting, which was attended by Elmar Griese and Xu Rong, Director of Beijing Office of Siegen University, as well as responsible leaders from International Office, School of Electrical Engineering, School of Control Engineering.
Afterwards, Elmar Griese had communication with teachers of electronic information science and technology from School of Electrical Engineering. Both sides expressed that cooperation on professional fields and staff exchange and scientific research could be enhanced with the bilateral efforts.
In the afternoon, Elmar Griese gave an academic report entitled New Interconnection Technology: Electrical Printed Circuit Boards with Optical Interconnects for High Bandwidth Communication, which received warm welcome by teachers and students.
