The signing ceremony of CDIO teacher training program was held in the international conference hall of the Hangkonggang campus. Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors, Johnny Tan Cheng Hye, Chief Executive of Temasek Foundation International(TFI), Benedict Cheong, Singapore Consulate General in Chengdu, Melissa Tan, provincial department of education, Deputy Director of the International Exchange service center of Sichuan education department, Wang Lasha, Vice President He Jianxin attended the signing ceremony. The signing ceremony was presided over by Liu Wei, Deputy Director of the International Office.

He Jianxin expressed his sincere gratitude and warm welcome to the guests who presented the signing ceremony, and introduced the efforts and achievements made by CUIT in the reform of engineering education. Wang Lassa thanked the TFI and SP for their strong support for Sichuan universities in the development of engineering  education. Johnny Tan Cheng reviewed the development of the project and introduced how CDIO can improve students’ innovative ability. Benedict Cheong introduces the basic situation of Temasek Foundation International.

With the witness of the guests, He Jianxin and Johnny Tan Cheng Hye signed the agreement on CDIO teacher training program cooperation.

Senior Director of the project cooperation of TFI, Stanley Lee, Public Manager of TFI, Tan Junming, Director of International Relations of SP, Lee Leck Seng, Vice General Manager of SP, Chia Hui Yong, and leader and related staff from the education department of Sichuan province, Chengdu College of University of Electronic Science and Technology, Xihua University, Chengdu Neusoft Institute attended the signing ceremony in CUIT.
