Dean of TU Dresden Institute of Advanced Studies in Germany visited CUIT

 On November 26, Brian Bjoerndal-Pedersen, TU Dresden Institute of Advanced Studies in Germany , Zhang Wei, Leader of the China Branch (Head of China Affairs), Ruan Yimin, Executive director of the China Branch and other three people visited our university. Xu Yuanping, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office (School of International Education), Yang Zhipeng, Vice President of the School of Electronic Engineering, Ma Jianbing, Vice President of the School of Computer Science, held a cooperation and exchange meeting in the 6th conference room of the Administration Building. The meeting was chaired by Xu Yuanping.


 Xu Yuanping extended a warm welcome to Brian Bjoerndal-Pedersen and his delegation, and briefly introduced the basic situation of international exchange and cooperation of the university. Zhang Wei introduced the advantages of the geographical location of TU Dresden, the setting of disciplines, the training program of students, the internship and employment of graduates. Ruan Yimin introduced the international cooperation projects of TU Dresden and the work responsibilities of the Institute of Advanced Studies. Yang Zhipeng and Ma Jianbing briefly introduced the subject construction, student training and international cooperation of the School of Electronic Engineering and the School of Computer Science respectively.


 The two sides carried out in-depth friendly exchanges and discussed the core issues such as the choice of students' major direction, credit replacement and course arrangement, and reached a series of consensus. These measures not only provide a strong guarantee for the academic exchanges and academic development of students of the two universities, but also lay a solid foundation for the in-depth promotion of educational cooperation.
