The Memorandum of Understanding signed with the University of British Columbia, Canada

On June 25, Dr. Gady Jacoby, Dean of Faculty of Management for the University of British Columbia, Canada, along with Professor Wan Fang from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba, visited Chengdu University of Information Technology.



Vice President Wu Xi extended a warm welcome to Dean Jacoby and his delegation. He mentioned that CUIT aims to foster deeper faculty exchanges and academic cooperation in teaching and research through faculty mobility and shared academic resources.


Dean Gady Jacoby introduced UBC and highlighted the significance of the agreement. "Signing this MOU with CUIT marks a new beginning for deepening our collaboration and pursuing mutual development," said Jacoby. "We hope to establish high-quality exchange programs, initiate joint student cultivation initiatives, and look forward to welcoming outstanding students and faculty from CUIT to Canada."



Wu Xi and Jacoby formally signed the Memorandum of Understanding on inter-university cooperation. This agreement serves not only as a testament to the growing friendship between the two universities but also as a significant milestone in their joint advancement within the field of education.
