On June 16, Senior Researcher Congrong He from Queensland University of Technology, Australia visited our university at the invitation of the School of Atmospheric Science, presenting an academic report titled “New Particle Formation Events in Australia”. Dr. Xiu Meng from the School of Atmospheric Science chaired the session, attended by faculty and students from the School of Atmospheric Science and School of Electronic Engineering.
During the lecture, Dr. He engaged in in-depth discussions with attendees on atmospheric environmental differences between China and Australia, and observational technology innovation under carbon neutrality goals. Prior to the lecture, he visited CUIT’s Chengdu Plain Urban Meteorology and Environment Field Observation Station, offering constructive suggestions for long-term monitoring practices. This exchange broadened participants’ international academic perspectives and established groundwork for future scholarly exchanges.
