On June 14, the “2025 Symposium on Radar Quantitative Precipitation Estimation and Forecasting” convened in Chengdu. Jointly hosted by the Committee on Radar Meteorology of the Chinese Meteorological Society, the Meteorological Observation Center of the China Meteorological Administration, Chengdu University of Information Technology, and the Professional Committee on Meteorological Education and Training of the Chinese Meteorological Society, the event gathered over 100 experts, scholars, and technical professionals. He Jianxin, President of CUIT delivered opening remarks, with the ceremony chaired by Shi Zhao, Associate Dean of the School of Electronic Engineering.
