On August 28th, the 7th China-Arab States Expo (the Expo) commenced in Yinchuan, Ningxia. Focusing on the theme of “Innovation, Green Development, and Prosperity,” the Expo attracted over 7,600 guests, representing more than 2,200 business associations and enterprises from 75 countries and regions. He Jianxin, president of CUIT, was invited to attend the related events.

The Expo featured an opening ceremony alongside the Belt and Road Initiative trade and investment promotion events. It established six major exhibition zones and held over 40 trade and exchange events, expanding cooperation into new areas such as the digital economy and artificial intelligence.
As one of the Expo’s sub-forums, the Forum on High-Quality Meteorological Development focused on topics including meteorological technology and artificial intelligence. China Meteorological Administration (CMA) reached a number of cooperation agreements with meteorological services from multiple Arab countries.
This year’s Expo achieved a milestone by securing participation from all 22 Arab nations for the first time, as well as from every Chinese province, region, and municipality. Several important documents were released, signaling that China-Arab cooperation is advancing toward higher levels of scientific innovation.
