Stanford University and Elsevier have released the 2025 “World’s Top 2% Scientists”list. Three scholars from CUIT—Gexiang Zhang, Junyuan Guo, and Klaus Schäfer—were included in the “Career-Long Impact” list, while six scholars—Gexiang Zhang, Junyuan Guo, Jie Li, Shaojie Qiao, Zhao Zhang, and Jinying Guo—were selected for the “Annual Scientific Impact” list.

The list, based on Scopus database metrics such as citations and H-index, identifies the top 2% of nearly 9.6 million global scientists. It serves as an objective reflection of academic influence.

The inclusion of multiple scholars from our university highlights their international impact and research contributions. It also demonstrates the effectiveness of our discipline development and research capabilities, further strengthening our institution’s global reputation.
