The 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing (AINLP 2025) was successfully held from September 26 to 28 at Chengdu University of Information Technology(CUIT). Organized by the College of Artificial Intelligence and other partner institutions, the conference adopted a hybrid online and offline format.

The opening ceremony featured welcome addresses by Yang Zhipeng, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, and Professor Zhang Shibin, Dean of the College of Artificial Intelligence. Both speakers emphasized the conference’s significant role in advancing disciplinary innovation and development.

The conference program included four keynote speeches, six oral presentation sessions, and ten innovative research posters presentations. Distinguished scholars—Professor Li Xiaoli from the Singapore University of Technology and Design, Professor Gou Jianping from Southwest University, Professor Cai Linqin from Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Associate Professor Huang Yuanyuan from the host university—shared cutting-edge research on large language models, knowledge distillation, human-computer interaction, and rainfall prediction, respectively.

In addition, scholars from institutions such as Shenzhen University and Southwest Jiaotong University delivered oral presentations, facilitating in-depth discussions on various hot topics in natural language processing. The conference provided a high-level platform for academic exchange and collaboration, effectively promoting interdisciplinary innovation and development in the field.
