The 2025 International Conference on Membrane Computing & International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Manufacturing (ICMC & AIIM 2025) was successfully held in Chengdu from September 19th to 21st.
Jointly organized by the International Membrane Computing Society and hosted by the School of Automation of our university, the conference brought together over 100 scholars from more than 40 institutions both in China and abroad, including the UK, France, Italy, Spain, and Hungary. Among the participants were multiple academicians and IEEE Fellows.


Professor Xi Wu, Vice President of our university, attended and addressed the opening ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Professor Gexiang Zhang, Dean of the School of Automation. The hybrid (online and offline) format of the conference facilitated in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge research in membrane computing, artificial intelligence, and intelligent manufacturing.
The event featured keynote speeches, oral presentations, and poster sessions. Ten distinguished experts, including Prof. Giancarlo Fortino, Prof. Mohsen Guizani, and Prof. Chen Min, shared the latest research findings, promoting international collaboration and academic innovation in the field.
