On November 3, 2025, The opening ceremony for the 2025 International Education Week was held at the International Conference Hall in the Hangkonggang Campus with Vice President Chen Quanliang, Deans from various colleges, representatives of overseas partner universities, as well as faculty and student representatives in attendance.

In his address, Vice President Chen emphasized that in the context of educational globalization, growth is achieved through understanding diverse cultures. He outlined that the educational week’s “1+N” framework features a series of events, including study abroad guidance and academic lectures, all designed to broaden students’global perspectives and internationalize scientific research.

Caroline HANRAS from ECAM  La Salle Engineering School, France, introduced the French education system’s focus on integrating theory with practice. Meanwhile, Joey Yuan from Swansea University, UK, underscored the role of international education in fostering global vision and cross-cultural competencies. VANDERPLANCKE Jimi, an international expert, also shared insights into the French education system and practical information for studying abroad.

Centering on CUIT’s internationalization strategy and academic ethos, the International Educational Week drew in approximately 5,000 participants inculding both teachers and students from both campuses.
