Recently, the Ministry of Education released the enrollment plan for the joint supervision of graduate students by Chinese and foreign supervisors under the framework of the 2026 International Conference on Industry Education Research Collaboration. Chengdu University of Information Technology (CUIT) has successfully secured the qualification for this joint supervision program. The initial enrollment quota approved for CUIT totals 20 students, including 15 master’s candidates and 5 doctoral candidates. This marks an important step forward in the CUIT’s efforts to internationalize its postgraduate education.

The joint supervision program for graduate students with Chinese and foreign co-supervisors is built upon the platform of the International Conference on Industry‑Education‑Research Collaboration. It adopts a collaborative supervision mechanism featuring both Chinese and international supervisors to deliver high‑level joint training for postgraduate students. The program is designed to deepen CUIT’s substantive cooperation with overseas high‑level universities, research institutions, and leading industry enterprises, fostering the collaborative cultivation of high‑caliber innovative talents. It also aims to promote the deep integration and innovative development of industry, education, research, and application, while comprehensively enhancing the CUIT’s capacity and standards in international postgraduate education.
