2026 Admission Guide for International Students (Chinese Language Training Programs) of the College of International Education, Chengdu University of Information Technology
一、 学校概况 I. General Information
成都信息工程大学（CUIT）始建于1951年，是中国气象局、四川省人民政府、和国家统计局共建的省属普通本科院校。学校以大气科学学科群、信息技术学科群和统计管理学科群为重点建设集群，以学科交叉为特色，以工学、理学、管理学为主要学科门类，促进工、理、管、经、文、法、艺、农、教多学科协调融合发展。现有3个省级“一流学科”建设学科，5个省级重点学科，5个ESI全球前1%学科，1个博士学位授权一级学科，14个硕士学位授权一级学科，13个硕士专业学位授权类别，形成了大气科学、信息技术、统计管理三大学科群。
Chengdu University of Information Technology (CUIT), founded in 1951, is a provincial public undergraduate institution co-established by the China Meteorological Administration, the People's Government of Sichuan Province, and the National Bureau of Statistics. The university focuses on three key disciplinary clusters: atmospheric sciences, information technology, and statistics and management, emphasizing interdisciplinary integration as a distinctive feature. With engineering, science, and management as its primary academic domains, CUIT promotes coordinated and multidisciplinary development across fields such as engineering, science, management, economics, liberal arts, law, arts, agriculture, and education. The university currently boasts 3 provincial-level "first-class" disciplines, 5 provincial key disciplines, and 5 ESI top 1% global disciplines. It has 1 first-level doctoral program, 14 first-level master's programs, and 13 professional master's degree categories, forming a robust academic framework centered around atmospheric sciences, information technology, and statistics and management.

Located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province—a renowned historical and cultural city known as the “Land of Abundance”—CUIT boasts a beautiful campus and advanced teaching and research facilities. 二、项目介绍 II. Program Introduction
本项目为汉语言文化进修生项目，旨在系统培养留学生的汉语综合运用能力，并加深其对中国社会与文化的理解。项目分为春季学期（3月到6月）和秋季学期入学（9月到12月）。
This program is designed for Chinese Language and Culture. It aims to systematically develop students' comprehensive Chinese language skills and deepen their understanding of Chinese society and culture. Intakes are available for both the Spring(March to June) and Autumn(September to December) semesters.
(一) 教学层次：非学历教育
Program Level: Non-degree education
(二) 学习期限：一学期（约15周）或一学年（两学期，约30周）
Duration: One semester (approximately 15 weeks) or One Academic Year (approximately two semesters, 30 weeks)
(三) 核心课程：综合汉语、汉语听力、汉语口语、汉语阅读、中国文化概况等。根据学生汉语水平（从零基础到高级）分班教学。
Core Courses: Comprehensive Chinese, Chinese Listening, Chinese Speaking, Chinese Reading, Survey of Chinese Culture, etc. Students will be placed in appropriate classes based on their Chinese proficiency level (from beginner to advanced).
(四) 文化体验：定期组织语言实践、文化讲座、城市参访等体验活动。
Cultural Experience: Regular language practice sessions, cultural lectures, and city exploration activities are organized.
三、申请条件 III. Eligibility
(一) 持外国有效普通护照的非中国籍公民，年龄原则上在18至40 周岁之间，身心健康。
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with valid ordinary passports, generally aged between 18 and 40, in good physical and mental health.
(二) 对原为中国公民、后加入外国国籍者，将依据《教育部关于规范我高等学校接受国际学生有关工作的通知》（教外函〔2020〕12号）进行资格审查。
For applicants who were originally Chinese citizens and subsequently obtained foreign citizenship, eligibility review will be conducted in accordance with the "Notice of the Ministry of Education on Regulating the Acceptance of International Students by Chinese Colleges and Universities" (Document No. 12 [2020]).
(三) 愿意遵守中国的法律法规和成都信息工程大学的校纪校规。
Willing to abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules of Chengdu University of Information Technology.
(四) 对学习汉语和中国文化有浓厚兴趣。
Have a strong interest in learning the Chinese language and culture.
四、申请时间 IV. Application Period
春季学期入学申请：2025年12月1日– 2026年1月15日
Spring Semester Intake: December 1, 2025 – January 15, 2026
秋季学期入学申请：2026年5月15日 – 2026年6月30日
Autumn Semester Intake: May 15, 2026 – June 30, 2026
五、申请流程 V. Application Procedure
（一） 提交申请材料：申请人须在指定申请时间内，将完整的申请材料（详见附件《成都信息工程大学来华留学生申请表》和《申请材料清单》），以附件形式一次性发送至指定邮箱：gjjyxy@cuit.edu.cn。
Submit Application Documents: Applicants must send all required application materials as attachments in a single email to the designated email address: gjjyxy@cuit.edu.cn, within the specified application period. Please refer to the attached “Application Form for International Students of Chengdu University of Information Technology” and “ List of Application Documents” for details on the required document.
（二） 材料评审与面试：我校将统一对申请材料进行评审。必要时，我校可能通过电子邮件通知申请人安排网络面试。
Document Review and Interview: CUIT will conduct a unified review of all application materials. If necessary, we may notify applicants via email to arrange an online interview.
（三） 审核结果：最终评审结果将通过电子邮件通知。请申请人务必确保申请表格中填写的电子邮箱地址准确有效，并注意查收来自 gjjyxy@cuit.edu.cn 的邮件（包括垃圾邮件箱）。
Admission Decision: The final admission decision will be notified via email. Applicants must ensure that the email address provided in the application form is accurate and valid. Please monitor the inbox (including the spam/junk folder) for messages from gjjyxy@cuit.edu.cn.

八、奖学金 VIII. Scholarship
学业表现优异者可申请以下奖学金（所有奖学金名额均严格遵循择优选拔原则，并须通过官方评审程序最终确定。）： Outstanding applicants may apply for the following scholarships (All scholarship awards are strictly based on a competitive merit-based selection process and are subject to final approval through the official review procedure.):
(一) 四川省外国留学生政府奖学金
Sichuan Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students
用于鼓励优秀外国留学生来四川高校学习和从事科学研究，提高我省外国留学生规模和我省教育的国际影响力。
The “Sichuan Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students” is provided to award outstanding international students to study and engage in scientific research at higher education institutions in Sichuan, thereby increasing the scale of international students in Sichuan province and enhancing the international influence of Sichuan's education system.
语言生： 1万元/年
Language-learning students: RMB 10000 per year
(二) 成都市国际友城留学生政府奖学金
Chengdu Government Scholarship for International Students from Sister Cities
“友城奖学金”用于奖励在根据国家有关规定批准设立、实施高等学历教育的在蓉高校中接受学历教育或非学历教育的友城优秀留学生。
The “Friendship City Scholarship” is provided to award outstanding international students studying at higher education institutions in Chengdu, which have been approved and authorized to offer academic or non-academic education according to national regulations.
语言生：0.1万元/月，最高1万元一年（以实际在华学习时间为准，仅在秋季学期申请）
Language Students: RMB 1,000/month, up to RMB10,000/year (based on the actual study time in China, can only apply at Fall semester)
(三) 成都市“一带一路”留学生政府奖学金
Chengdu Belt and Road Scholarship
“一带一路奖学金” 用于奖励在根据国家有关规定批 准设立、实施高等学历教育的在蓉高校中接受学历教育或非学历教育的来自“一带一路”沿线国家的优秀留学生。
The Belt and Road Scholarship is provided to award outstanding international students from Belt and Road countries who are studying at higher education institutions in Chengdu, which have been approved and authorized to offer academic or non-academic education according to national regulations.
语言生：0.1万元/月，最高1万元一年（以实际在华学习时间为准，仅在秋季学期申请）
Language Students: RMB 1,000/month, up to RMB10,000/year (based on the actual study time in China, can only apply at Fall semester)
九、录取与入学 IX. Admission & Enrollment
(一) 录取结果将通过电子邮件形式通知。被录取者经教育部审批通过将收到《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）。
Admission results will be published via the application system and notified via email. Admitted applicants, upon approval by the Ministry of Education, will receive the official “Admission Letter” and the “Visa Application Form for Study in China” (JW202 Form).
(二) 被录取者须凭《录取通知书》和JW202表前往中国驻外使领馆申请来华学习（X1或X2）签证。
Admitted students must apply for a Study Visa (X1 or X2) at the Chinese embassy/consulate in their home country using the “Admission Letter” and JW202 Form.
(三) 新生须按《录取通知书》规定的时间到校报到，并缴纳费用、办理注册。具体报到日期及要求将随录取材料一并告知。
New students must report to the university by the date specified in the "Admission Letter" to pay fees and complete registration. The specific reporting date and requirements will be provided with the admission documents.
(四) 入学时将进行资格复审和体检复核。不符合条件者，将被取消入学资格。
Qualification review and physical examination verification will be conducted upon enrollment. Admission will be revoked for those who fail to meet the requirements.
