The Student Team of CUIT Won the Winner prize in the 2nd “China-Israel Hack Marathon”

On November 18th, the second “China-Israel hack marathon” which held by Xihua University and Israel Consulate General kicked off in the Xihua University.

The competition was organized by 16 students from universities in Sichuan Province and students from Israeli universities. The experts from relevant fields in China and Israel served as mentors and judges.

 

The competition aims to strengthen the international exchange of students, to carry out the application of professional and technical knowledge, and to improve students' innovative thinking.

The AE86 team composed of students from the Computer Sciences College and Electronic Engineering College of CUIT, Zeng Wei, Liu Yuran, Chen Yu, Xu Haowei and Guy Cohen from Israeli University, took the project on the spot and used computer tools to develop the project within 24 hours. After careful planning and Joint efforts, the students succeeded in realizing their creativity.

 

16 teams participated in the road show, and they elaborated their projects in terms of project background, design concept, key technologies and business value. Finally, our student team AE86 won the group winner.

 

Through this hack marathon, the students exercised their design and innovation skills, and also gained valuable practical experience and international friendship.
