Delegation of La Trobe University, led by Dr. Damian Spencer, Assistant Principal, and Prof. Henry Du, Dean of School of Computer Science, visited CUIT. Prof. He Jianxin, Vice-president of CUIT met with the delegation in No.7 Conference Room of Administration Building.
Prof. He warmly welcomed the delegation and appreciated the support of LTU on summer faculty training. Then he introduced basic situation of CUIT, showed expectation of cooperation between both sides in fields of cooperative education, exchange of teachers and students and scientific research. Dr. Spencer introduced LTU in basic situation, international exchange cooperation and scientific research cooperation, showed expectation of extensive cooperation in aspects of information technology and electronic engineering. Henry introduced basic situation of College of Computer Science in LTU, showed expectation of education and scientific research cooperation in subjects of computer technology, software engineering and cybersecurity.
In the conference, heads of schools communicated with delegation about specific arrangements of cooperative projects development and scientific research centers establishment.
After the conference, the delegation visited information technology discipline group and acquired further knowledge in the development of information technology subjects of CUIT.
